Premier Mystery Shopping for the Banking Industry

Bank FAQ

Am I applying to work for your company?
NO. You are not applying to be an employee of our company. There is no employee-employer relationship. You are an independent contractor with the option to accept or reject individual shopping assignment on a case by case basis.

Why do you need my social security number?
We need your Social Security Number in order to pay you as an independent contractor. This is a requirement of the IRS. If in a calendar year, you receive $600 or more from us, we are required to give you and the IRS a 1099 statement of your earnings for income tax purposes.

How much do you pay? When do you pay?
Each shopping assignment has different arrangements. The payment in each situation is explained during the application process before you agree to become a shopper. Checks are sent out bi-weekly for shops completed.

Can I also shop or work for other companies?
Many of our shoppers do mystery shopping part-time while having other jobs (including working for other mystery shopping companies). You are an independent contractor and are not limited in how or where you spend your time. We do require that you do not accept a mystery shopping assignment for a company where you or a family member are currently working or have previously worked. Having worked there you may not be as objective as you need to be.

How secure is my personal information?
We do not share your personal information with anyone, and you will not find yourself on any mailing lists. Your user ID and Password prevent other people from accessing your information. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
